Senior week at schools across the country is a much-anticipated time to celebrate achievements, reminisce, and socialize with friends. This rite of passage often includes special events both on and off campus for graduates. Events such as sports activities, BBQs, beach days, theme days, or dances can make for a fun week for college or high school students.

A week’s worth of activities for a senior week is a lot to take on. Hiring an event company like Seacoast Events can take much of the pressure off of hosting a fun and engaging event on your campus. Not only can our team schedule services and game equipment for your event including delivery, set up, and breakdown at the end of the event, but we also offer a professional team member to help run many of our events such as photo booths and interactive entertainment service.

From our interactive entertainment to our Larger Than Life Sports and games rentals, your special senior week event will be enjoyed by all. Here are a few tips for planning an epic senior week at your school and some of our popular games and services that will make lasting memories for your graduates.

Planning Logistics

As seasoned event planners, we know that some of the most critical parts of any planning process occur during the initial stages. The flurry of activity can be overwhelming if it is not organized and delegated among key players.

One of the first logistical steps to take when planning senior week events is determining the date(s) and potential venues, whether there is space indoors or outdoors, on or off campus. Once those two pieces of the puzzle are determined, you can start setting a budget for each component and setting out an itinerary for each day of the week.

Activity Planning

Once your planning committee has scheduled the dates and venues, including any required deposits, and set out a reasonable budget, it’s time to start working on the details of each day. For instance, will your events have a theme, activity, or purpose?

Most senior weeks balance physical activities such as games or carnivals, entertainment events such as game shows or photo booths, nostalgic activities such as yearbook signings and class photos, and celebrations such as a “last night” dance/party.

It’s a good idea to schedule any vendors that you will need for the games, entertainment, food, or prizes well in advance to ensure that you will get your preferred dates and times and, possibly, the best deals.

Popular Senior Week Activities

To mark the end of an era, students love to celebrate with friends who have become more like family. Some of our most popular senior week and campus activities include games and entertainment that will have your group laughing and playing together one last time.

Larger Than Life Sports

Being active and playing with (and against) classmates is one of the best ways to engage your group for senior week. Our Larger Than Life Sports include lifesized inflatable games like Human Foosball, Giant Field Goal Challenge, Curling, Giant Basketball Challenge and Velcro Axe Throwing.

Who doesn’t love the festive atmosphere of a carnival? Our colorful red and white tents and games, such as Carnival Basketball, Roller Bowler, Frog Launch, Ring Toss, and Shuffle Puck, will make your senior week event one for the ages.
